SATURDAY COLLAGE III

Discovered I have so many pics. From morning to dusk. And this is how it goes on any given day.Usually starts out with  sun.  And sometimes Cordelia. Sitting on the fence.......
My favourite place. (Well, one of many, I guess)
Moai on the Hill. Silent folk.
And the sweet peas. Larger than life.
                                               Rhodochiton
                                Pots. Stuffed with petunias.
                                               And fish fertilizer  for all.
                                                 Cordelia can smell the fertilizer.
Everything goes BOOM with the stuff.
Verbascum is huge this year. Considered a weed, of all things.
And the last of the Campanula Takesana. Slowing winding down.
Smokey winding up at mid day.
                                               Foxgloves, begonias,  fuschias
Pots and pots of  things.  Sweet peas growing out of chair.
Moai buried deep in the Takesana.
                                                     Overgrown creeping jenny.
Strawberries, that we do NOT eat,
since the creepy crawlies have already got to them.
Sink full of lobelia and begonias by variegated hosta and bleeding heart.
And a terrace waiting to be weeded .
Later in the day. Cape Fushia  reaching above the steps.
Spencer ON the porch. On one of his chairs.
I even put a towel down for him.
Neighbourhood cats everywhere. So it seems.
                                                      Roses in barrels.
Spencer off the porch. Late afternoon sun. Having a look at the hill.
Cordelia having a look at Spencer.
Roses  petering out after a quick rain. And plums. In the evening.                                                        Ripening underneath the boughs of their tree.
Waiting to ripen and turn into wine.

Thursday Collage....

Thursday. And the Garden is coming in fast and furious.
                                               Roses and more roses.
Cats and more cats. Cats who have other homes.
Cats who sit and watch slugs creep across the grass.
With the forest  deep in cloud. Today. Only today.
                                                 Bush roses pop with colour.
Prolific poppies. Growing straight out of the compost.
                                  Peace Roses. Large and  soft.
And the cats. Always the cats from the hill.
                                                   Watching and waiting.Tired of slugs.
Waiting for the mist and cloud to go.
Then it rains. For a few minutes.
Teases us with a hint of fall.
And the sweet peas love it. They're expanding. Creeping up.
Pots  and rain and mist and cloud. Give way to sun.
And Spencer hangs from the fence. In the shade.
The porch is the coolest. Dry from the mist.

The sweet peas suck in the rain .
Spencer finds his chair on the porch.
                                             And sleeps. Perchance to dream.
