Yellow Cross-Billed Finch is back again this week. He peeps a lot.Could be a she. But the peeping never stops. Then he's off.
The trees are heavy with cherry blossoms. Baby cherries popping up all over.Good for make tart jams.
And Spencer has taken up on the porch again. Supervising. As you can see.
Cordelia peers cautiously through her place on the fence. She sees Spencer napping. She'll watch him for a while. Then go sit on her Moai.
While the grape vines shoot up like pink stars. Leaves twirling from the stems.
Native Cranesbill is in full bloom already. A little early. Hoping the bees find them. Soon.
Yellow beans begin curling their way into the world. I only planted one veggie this year. Keeping it easy.Siberian Bugloss is popping up at odd intervals in the dirt.

I've been collecting flats for a couple of weeks. Rotating outside to harden them up. Moving the shade flats to the porch, because that's where I will use them.
The Bunnies are restless.
The beans grow taller.
Hostas came up without any fanfare. One day they weren't there, and the next there they were.
Centaurea is on the hill. That means it's time to do a test pot of flowers.
Just one pot. See if it does okay.Well, maybe two pots. ....I think I can stop at two pots of flowers...for now...
It's under cover of the porch, not out in the open,so still protected.
The climbing sweet peas are up. Struggling with their little hands to get out of the dirt.

Cordelia has taken up her place on the Moai.
Pollen is on the Cranesbill. Just waiting for the bees. Spencer toddles home, like a lion through the jungle. I watch my potted flowers to see if they will make it trough the night..... bunnies hop and hop. Cuteness overload....
