Great light...

 "God made two great lights,the great light to govern the day,and the lesser light  to govern the night.He also made the stars..."

 In the heat of the smokey sun , I see a Lion.....

 In the middle of the day, I miss the mountains....

 And Spencer flops.....

 "The sun rises, the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises...."

Plums burp in the smoke.....

 Days rise in  quiet....ash falls from far away.

 "Wisdom , like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun..." -Ecclesiastes 7:11

 Wise Cordelia lingers by  blackberries in the shade.

 And Spencer flops.

 And turns over. Like a pancake on a skillet.

 He spreads in the heat. Like syrup.

 Night skies resemble tinged cotton candy. As it goes to dark. Waiting for a change to come.....
