In the PINK

"Mornings in May, echoed with the call of cuckoos, sunlight glowed through green canopies of trees. "

                            -Meeta Ahluwalia

MAY-FLOWER by EMILY DICKINSON (1830-1886)
Pink, small and punctual
Aromatic, low
Covert in April
Candid in May
Dear to the moss
Known by the knoll
Next to the robin
In every human soul
Bold...........
Little beauty
Bedecked .....
With you..........
Nature forswears
Antiquity.
"May: the lilacs are in bloom. Forget yourself. "
