BUMBLES in the CRANESBILL

Paws. On a heated, muggy day.Buzzzzz. You can hear them in the still.
Bumbly Bees. In the Cranesbill. One of the first to flower this month. Buzzzzzz.
More paws. Under the bench. On a heated, muggy day.
Cranesbill. Dancing in the heat. Bees humming.
Bumbly bees are not as plentiful, sometimes, as they used to be.
Lots of flowers. Lots of bees.  In the Cranesbill.
Bees. Buzzing. Hanging off  flowerets.  In the heat of day.
Smokey. Cooler under the bench. On a heated muggy day.

Bumbly Bees. Over 250 varieties. Bumbly bees feed on nectar with their long, hairy tongue.
Spencer washes. The pavement is hot. Even in the shade. He can hear the bees. Many experts are greatly worried about their decline. But today there is no worry. The bees buzzzz all around.
Spencer snoozes. In the heat of a muggy afternoon. Surrounded by bumbles.
