“Like the sparkle of a thousand pearls, an angel touched my
lips.”-Sir Kristian G. Aumann
Sweet Simon dreamed of snow. A time of wonder and magic.
Hope
“It was December. Twinkling lights lined the sidewalks. Bare
trees shivered in the wind, already Anxious for Spring’s arrival. Grey clouds
filled the sky. This year had brought the best and the worst of thngs, things
that altered life forever…” -Brandi Little
Adore The snow enveloped his world. Cold on gentle paws. It
tickled his ears. Days were short. Evenings frosty and stark. Christmas seemed
so far away…

the soul and sings the tunes without the words, and never stops at all. “

It was a time of fog and mist. Of diving into snow drifts, and chasing feathered snacks that were just out of reach

Simon liked to sit on the porch and watch his world toddle by.
He would listen to the drifting snow….It sounded like gossamer.
Dead leaves danced in the breeze swirling around pretty Cordelia.
She snoozed on the fence in the mild, silver light. A bossy Jay squawked. Simon
twitched his whiskers; his nose was cold.
Elation ....
Eagles shrieked from craggy mountains. So far in the
clouds. The forest called to Simon. He loved to chase garter snakes in summer
and icicles in winter.
Sitting in a frosty tree sat a Hawk. Serene. Hungry. Always
hungry it was. Simon felt its eyes bearing down. He shivered.
“Open your heart, stay in silence and let it be Christmas, every day, in your life.” -Sir Kristian G. Aumann

night. Last of the leaves shuddered.
