LOVE MUCH

Love Much.  (Edna Wheeler Wilcox 1850-1919)
Earth has enough of bitter in itCast sweets into its cup whenever you can.
No heart so hard but love at last may win it.
Love is the grand cause of us.
All hate is foreign to the first great plan.
Love much.
Love on, love on. Tis bread upon the water.
It shall be cast in loaves yet  at your feet
Unleavened manna, most divinely sweet
LOVE much.
Your faith will be dethroned and shaken.
Keep your faith, and let new trusts awaken.
Though clouds obscure  them, yet the stars  are pure.
LOVE  is a vital force and must endure.
LOVE much.
More blessed is it, even, than to receive.

THE MOUNTAINS

"Columbine, I see you there. Hidden away. hidden in my heart."

" and the mountains  shout joy. Shout to my eyes."
"Let my eyes see and my ears wait for you"
"For you are lost to the mists"
"and I know that you sing to me "
"Even though I cannot find you"
"the mountains hold me in their arms. "
"Can you see me yet? "
"The light fades. I cannot see  you . My eyes search for you...."
"Channeled by your wind."
"Channeled by that which is and once was"
"I am lost in this that I see, that once was"
"But I hear you singing"
" I hear your sing of joy, of the mountains"
"And your world shall be my world and I shall hear you in my heart."
