Trekking along....

I just could not help myself.  There they were . At Think Geek.com. Everything Star Trek. Did you know that the uniforms on the original show were made of velour, and were always  dry cleaned, and so appeared like they didn't fit the actors.

Makes you want to watch  Star Trek Original Series Marathons, doesn't it?
My biggest dilemma was where to put them.   The neighbourhood cats watched me toddle back and forth trying to find the perfect place.
Problem is.....exactly WHERE do you put them? Especially the Gorn and Kirk.
Under a thorny rosebush? Maybe under the Black Bacarra.....
Posssibly on the bench by Smokey and Spencer's yellow cup.
Another bit of fascinating trivia: Did you know that Nichelle Nichols, ( who originally wanted to play the part of Spock!)  but got Uhura, wanted to leave the series after the first year. But she stayed. ( Of course) and afterwards she went on to work for Nasa. How cool is that.....

Somewhere where it is not too hot and not to soggy.
Or too muddy, or wormy, or buggy.

Hmmmmmmm. Maybe they need to be all together. One for all and all for one, and that sort of thing.
Hmmmm. Interesting. Just noticed that the redshirt has a phaser hole. (Why is it most of the redshirts in Star Trek were basically nothing more than good target practise.....)

Here's a bit more Trivia:  If you've ever watched one of the episodes, you've probably noticed that on most of the hallways there are tubes marked  "GNDN" (Goes Nowhere Does Nothing).

Hmmmmmmmm, maybe they should sit on the porch. Cordelia could watch over them.  I could dust them once in a while.      With  Spencer  standing guard.
And they can watch the sweet peas grow, and grow and grow.

And that Vulcan salute?  It's shaped like the   letter  "shin" from the Hebrew alphabet; the first letter of the word "Shaddai", meaning "Almighty". A blessing. I think I'll leave Mr. Spock and his friends on the porch with his hand held forever in his split-fingered  salute. Seems appropriate.  Live Long and Prosper.
