It all started with a rainbow yesterday afternoon.....................
Today wind picked up in the Passage................
The trees even looked scared......
Ice formed . Settled. Scratched into glass.
Waves tossed themselves silly.........
And it was hard to stand against the wind, rain, sleet, snow, ice pellets.
Then snow fell. Snow we do not want. Cause it's slippery , greasy west coast snow.
Greenhouse became a refuge for cats. Spencer indignant that it would snow.
Snow stuck to everything. Ice stuck to the snow. And all we stuck watching it fall.
Surf rolled around rocks.............
Waves tossed in the icey wind.............
Shorelines disappeared. Eddied. Tempests blew.
And then it was night. Again. Waiting for another rainbow.
