IN THE CORNER

"A garden to walk in and immensity to dream in.. A few flowers at his feet and above him the stars...." - Victor Huga ( Les Miserables)
It''s the light that captivates me.  Light thru paper thin petals. In the corner.
Or on the lavender pink chives. They look like nodding minions. Hiding in their corner.
And all the cats that visit. They must feel safe here.  Simon comes once a day for a treat and to drink out of the bowls.
"A garden isn't meant to be useful. It's meant for joy..."
                                          -Rumer Godden
Cosmos. A birthday present for my daughter. Never found this year at garden stores. These ones have reseeded themselves. Amazing. So there will be Cosmos after all.........In the corner.
Rain and light. Two of my favourite things
 Roses starting their bloom.
In time for their Christmas photo ops.
And the cats.  Rona still thinks he belongs in the flower pot.
The Sweet Peas  grow by leaps and bounds. In the corner.
"Going out to the garden is to go on a holiday. When you travel amongst the flowers, you touch heaven .." - Mehmet Muran Idan

See the Cucumber that apparently is BURPLESS. (That's fun to say)
 More light .
More colour. Texture of rice paper. In the corner. Where it is green and quiet.
"A story is a garden you carry in your pocket. ..." -Alexandra Curry.

Where Spencer, faithful visitor, does his daily thinking.

  1. The corner is the best place to be as both cats and beautiful plants and flowers have found this to be. Tucked away in a peaceful way,
