Bo's Day

First day that we have had any real sun, any real warmth and Bo decided to steal it all. Not that I could blame her. She thinks she is so smart:"Everything I   know , I learned from my cat. When you're hungry, eat. When you're tired, nap in a sunbeam.when you go to the vet, pee on your owner." (G. Smithe)
How many of us could do this? "I'm aloof...(not really, but...), I like to run around and I like to curl up in warm spots." (M Coogan) We would get nothing done if we all curled up in warm places. Today, for example, I was pulling stuff out from the greenhouse. No time to curl up like Bo.
By the time the sun rose, today, Bo had stolen her place on the carpet: "The sun rose slowly, like a fiery furball coughed up uneasily onto a carpet  by a giant unseen cat." (M. Migarel) And by that time  I had stolen outside to clean up the porch and  slosh water on the windows.  Hmmmm, it's a cat's life....
"In a cat's eye, all things belong to cat's" (English Proverb)
                                                       And thus concluded Bo's Day........

A Lazy Sunday Afternoon...

Sunday afternoon, sun is streaming in..................time to hang off the top of the chaise lounge and get comfortable......
You know it's bound to happen......one arm slips ever so slightly over the edge, and you're falling downwards into oblivion.........or, at least, over the edge of the lounge.

And then there's the Sunday afternoon where you just can't seem to sleep.......and life is just one big bounce and flop from sun patch to sun patch. But in the end Sunday is  meant for regrouping, whether it be grooming one's fur, or falling off a lounge, or finding that perfect sunny spot...

What to do with 10 Minutes of Sun....

There has been little or no sun for weeks, off and on. Today there was about half an hour of sun...weak, but still there, nonetheless. Bo found the only patch and thus demonstrated what to do, if you are fortunate to find sun. Please pay attention...it is imperative that you follow these instructions to the letter......Firstly:Lie on back in twisted formation.
Secondly: Yawn...

Thirdly: Stare intently upwards and lick lips.

Fourthly: Squeeze eyes and start to snore...............the sun will get you every time.
