January on the West Coast

"There is one spectacle  grander than the sea, that is the sky:there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul..." --Victor Hugo (Les Miserables)
 January.....
 At Discovery Passage
On the East coast of Vancouver Island.
 Coast Mountains
 Bathed in sunset at 4:15.
And Quadra Island in the mist of blue. Incredible.
"Listen to what the sky is telling you....." - A.D. Posey
 Hard to believe.....
 This is January
Where rain forest meets the ocean
And Mt. Washington Range  binds them all together.
 Blue during the day
 To sunset at 4:30pm
"Night has come, and her planets safely risen; a safe, still night. We know that God is everywhere.....

But we certainly we feel His presence most when His works are on the grandest scale spread before us;and it is in the unclouded night sky where his worlds wheel their silent course...
That we read  clearest His  infinitude,His omnipotence, His omnipresence...." -Charlotte Bronte
